From Struggle to Strength

A story of resilience, hope, and the power of education to transform lives

Our Founder's Journey

Born into Poverty

Kisitu Viola was born in rural Uganda, where she experienced firsthand the harsh realities of poverty, limited access to education, and the vulnerability that orphaned children face. Despite the overwhelming odds, her spirit remained unbroken. This is her story.

Personal Loss & Resilience

As a mother who lost her own son's father to HIV, I understand the pain of losing loved ones to preventable and treatable conditions. I have raised my son with the determination to ensure no other family experiences similar heartbreak. This personal tragedy became my greatest motivation.

Education as Liberation

Through perseverance and the support of mentors, many children could pursue education and secure their future. Today, many dream of holding advanced degrees and build successful careers—yet I never forgot the struggles that shaped me. I have realized that education, shelter and care are the key that unlocks the potential of many Ugandan children.

A Divine Calling

My journey has transformed me into a servant and advocate. My lived experience awakened a deep compassion for vulnerable populations and a calling to break the cycle of vulnerability. I made the conscious choice to dedicate my life to service and transformation.

"I have lived in poverty. I have known what it means to be orphaned. I have witnessed suffering. But I have also experienced the transformative power of education, care, and compassion. Now, it is my calling to ensure that every vulnerable child gets the same chance I was given."
